How can I get to London Bride?

Our store is located in London and is very accessible by many modes of transport. We are a 5 minute walk from Elephant and Castle Station which has mainland rail and tube services and is on the Northern and Bakerloo line. Our shop is also reachable by bus, the following services pass by our store; 12, 35, 40, 42, 45, 68, 148, 171, 176, 468 & P5 and the closest bus stop is Larcom Street.

Do I need to make an appointment?

If you wish to try on dresses, then please contact us on 020 7703 6796 or email info@londonbrideuk.com to book an appointment with one of our consultants.

Is there a charge?

There is a £10 appointment charge which is payable on booking. 

What should I expect from my appointment?

Our appointments usually last for one hour and we are committed to giving each bride a professional and personal consultation in which your non commission based bridal consultant will help you decide what to try on and provide you with relevant and honest advice.

Who should I bring to my appointment?

For a Saturday appointment, we kindly request that you come with a maximum of two guests. Sunday-Friday, you are very welcome to bring up to 3 guests with you to your appointment. 

Can I bring children?

To ensure a safe environment for your child, you and our team members, we kindly ask that you do not bring any children under 12 to your appointment. It can be stressful and distracting,  and it can also be unsafe as there are many pins, mirrors and stairs around the store.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

For trying on dresses, if would be helpful if you wore a strapless bra. You are welcome to bring shoes with you if you would like.

It may also be useful if you take a look at our website to get an idea of the styles we offer and make a note of the styles you like as it gives us an idea when you come in for your appointment.

What is the price range of dresses?

Our dresses to order range from £895 – £2,000 and we always have dresses to buy immediately from stock starting from £395.

How long do I need to order my dress?

If you are buying a dress immediately from stock, we may only need to order your accessories. However, dresses ordered from our collection (in your size and colour) can take up to 4 months. There can be an option for a rush order from most of our designers, this may incur an extra cost.

How many fittings will I need?

As our dresses are not made to measure, we will order your dress in the closest size to you. We usually work on the basis of having two fittings; one to pin the amendments and a second to check that you are happy with the changes.

All alterations are subject to an additional charge based on what you have altered. We offer an in-house alteration service on a Tuesday or Thursday.

There is no obligation to have your alterations done with us, if you wish to take it somewhere else, we have a seamstress we can highly recommend.

What do I bring to my first fitting?

It is very important that you bring the shoes (or ones of the same height ) and the underwear you will be wearing on the day.
