Booking your appointment
Everything you need to know before you book, from how appointments work to what each one costs.
Yes, all visits are by appointment so we can give you our full attention without interruption. You can book online or call us on 020 7703 6796.
Standard appointments last around 90 minutes, which gives you time to try on a range of dresses without feeling rushed.
Weekday appointments start from £10. Weekend slots are £15 and our Prosecco appointment are £20. The fee secures your slot and is redeemable against any dress purchase (sale items are excluded from this).
Yes, we offer complimentary appointments on Wednesdays. These are 45 minutes long and ideal for a first look.
Most brides start trying on dresses 9 to 12 months before the wedding. This gives time to find your dress, place the order, and complete alterations without pressure. If your wedding is sooner, we still have plenty of options including off the peg dresses.
Often yes, especially midweek. Weekends book up further in advance. Give us a call and we will do our best to fit you in.
Visiting the boutique
Practical details about your visit, from where to find us to what to bring.
We are at 203 Walworth Road, SE17 1RL, in South London. The closest tube is Elephant and Castle, around 10 minutes walk away. [CONFIRM nearest station]
Street parking is available on side roads off Walworth Road. The closest car park is [CONFIRM location]. Most brides find public transport easier.
We recommend bringing 2 to 3 guests, ideally the people whose opinions matter most. Larger groups can feel overwhelming and lead to mixed feedback. Guest limits vary by day, so let us know who is coming when you book. [CONFIRM exact limits per day]
Comfortable clothes that are easy to take on and off, and nude or pale seamless underwear. Most wedding dresses do not need a bra, as they have built-in support. Skip fake tan, body lotion, and heavy makeup, as these can transfer onto the dresses.
Just yourself and a few inspiration images if you have them. No need to bring shoes, accessories or veils, we have everything you need in store. If you have already bought your wedding shoes, feel free to bring them to your fittings later on.
We would gently discourage it. Appointments are calm, focused experiences, and small children can find the wait difficult. If childcare is not an option, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Our dresses and designers
A quick overview of what we stock, how our collections work, and what you can expect to find on the rails.
We carry collections from leading bridal designers across a range of styles, from classic and timeless to modern and unexpected. You can browse our full designer list on the Designers page.
We have around [CONFIRM number] dresses on the rails at any one time, across every silhouette, neckline and price point.
Our made-to-order dresses start at around £[CONFIRM] and go up to around £[CONFIRM]. Off the peg and sample sale dresses start lower. We can recommend pieces in your budget once we know what you are looking for.
Absolutely. Send us the image or style number when you book and we will make sure it is available for your appointment. If we do not carry it but stock the designer, we can sometimes order it in for a trunk show.
Yes, we refresh stock throughout the year as designers release new collections. If you fall in love with a current sample, ask us how long it will be on the rail.
Sizing and fit
How bridal sizing works, what we stock in store, and how we get your dress to fit perfectly.
Our sample dresses are UK sizes 6 to 22. Most styles can be ordered up to a UK size 32 with no size surcharge.
Bridal sizing follows older European measurements and runs roughly one to two sizes smaller than the UK high street. This catches a lot of brides off guard, but it is standard across the industry. We will measure you properly and order based on your measurements, not your usual size.
We always order the larger size and take it in during alterations. Letting a dress out is often impossible, so sizing up is the safer choice.
That is what fittings are for. Our in-house seamstresses adjust your dress to your body in the weeks before the wedding, regardless of small changes in either direction.
Yes. Our in-store samples include sizes up to UK 22, and most styles can be ordered up to UK 32 with no surcharge. Read more on our Plus Size page.
Ordering and timelines
How long it takes to get your dress, and what to do if your wedding is around the corner.
Most made-to-order dresses take 4 to 6 months to arrive. Some designers are quicker, others take longer. Once it arrives, you will need another 8 to 12 weeks for fittings and alterations.
We recommend ordering 9 to 12 months before the wedding. This builds in time for production and alterations without rushing. If you are shorter on time, we will let you know what is possible at your appointment.
Yes. We hold a range of off the peg dresses you can take home the same day, and many designers offer rush production for an additional fee. Let us know your wedding date when you book and we will plan accordingly.
Some designers charge a rush fee for orders placed inside their standard production window, typically 5 to 6 months out. The fee varies by designer. We will always tell you upfront before you commit.
This is rare, but we monitor every order and stay in close contact with designers. If a delay looks possible, we will know well in advance and have time to put a backup plan in place.
Alterations
How our in-house alterations work and what to expect during fittings.
Yes, we have an in-house alterations team. Fittings take place on Thursdays at the boutique. [CONFIRM alterations day]
Alterations are charged separately from the dress and depend on what is needed. Most brides spend between £[CONFIRM] and £[CONFIRM]. We will give you a clear quote at your first fitting.
Most brides have 2 to 3 fittings, starting around 8 to 12 weeks before the wedding. Complex alterations or multiple changes may need an extra session.

Off the peg and sale
Our off the peg and sale options for brides who want to take a dress home the same day or shop at a lower price point.
Off the peg dresses are sample dresses you buy and take home the same day, no production wait. They are a great option if your wedding is soon, or if you would rather skip the order and wait. Read more on our Off the Peg page.

After saying yes
What happens after you have said yes to your dress, from collection day to caring for your dress after the wedding.
Once your final fitting is complete, your dress is ready to take home. Most brides collect 1 to 2 weeks before the wedding. We will pack it in a bridal bag for transport.
Keep it in the bag we provide, hung somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight. Do not store it on a hook by a window or in a damp space.
Yes, we steam your dress before collection so it is ready to wear. If it gets creased in transit, we can recommend a local steaming service close to your venue. [CONFIRM steaming included]
Yes, we offer a cleaning and preservation boxing service so your dress is properly cared for after the day. Pricing depends on the dress. [CONFIRM service details]
Accessories and extras
Veils, shoes, jewellery, and everything else that completes your look.
Yes, we stock veils, headpieces, jewellery, and a small range of bridal shoes. Most brides choose accessories at their first fitting, once the dress is ordered.
Not at all. You are welcome to bring your own veil or accessories to your fittings so we can style the full look together.
Yes, just let us know when you book. Trying a veil with the dress helps you see the full picture, especially for blusher or cathedral lengths.
Come in with an open mind and try on as many styles as you can. That is how you find out what you really like and what actually suits you.

Bring no more than two people. Your first appointment is about figuring out what you feel your best in. Too many opinions can cloud your judgement that early in the search.
