A bride came in for her appointment and her guest went into labour in the store. Both of them were so lovely and so calm and we still finished the appointment. Her guest's partner came by a few days later to tell us she had given birth that afternoon.
A bride asked me to waltz with her at her fitting to make sure she could move in the dress. Unusual, but I was happy to assist.
Come with no more than two people. Your first appointment is about figuring out what you feel your best in. Too many opinions that early on can cloud your judgement.
Refusing to try on a style you hadn't initially pictured for yourself is the biggest mistake. You could be missing out on something you never realised would suit you.
Almost anything is possible as long as you give yourself time. But it is not easy and it is not cheap, so give yourself a healthy budget separate from your dress budget if you are planning on getting creative with your requests.
